Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to visit with students from three elementary schools in the Northern Tioga School District in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. There were over 600 third to sixth graders in attendance, whom I was able to speak with about the importance of reading and writing, and even about how becoming an author is no longer a far-fetched idea. I had a great time, and from their reactions, I believe they did too!
